4. DND mode on your Phone:
DND mode is also a reason why you are not receiving the call. So basically DND mode is Do Not Disturb mode. This option disable / blocks all the notifications on your phone.

Follow these steps to give access, if you have not yet:
- Open the settings app on your phone
- Open the search bar and search for “Special app access”
- Tap on Display over other apps
- Now tap on the phone app
- And then, tap on “Allow display over other apps”

6. Enable Call Notification:
Notifications are the main factor of any phone and this is also the main culprit of this issue also. If you are not receiving the calling screen, then most probably the notification permission has not been given or disabled somehow.
So, please enable notifications on your phone. To enable the notifications permission, follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap and hold the Phone (contact) app
- Then, tap on App info
- Now tap on notification and permissions too
- Allow all notifications and give permission to the app
7. Restart the Preference:
Some permission or given Preferences are overlapping sometimes. Preferences given over the phone service also lead to this issue. And that’s why incoming calls not showing on your screen.
So, you have to reset the app Preferences to the default setting. And then this issue will get fixed. To reset the app Preferences, follow these steps:
- Open the setting app on your phone
- Tap on all apps or search for “apps”
- Then, tap on manage apps

8. Disable Truecaller App:

This calling screen problem can be seen when the network connection is not that good. So, if you have also sated the caller app to Truecaller, then please reset it to default.
9. Use Google Dialer and Google Phone App:
If the issue is still there then, you should replace your dialer and contact with a genuine app and trusted app. And you have one of the better options is Google dialer/phone app.
And set that app as a default user. But, if your phone already has Google products with the Google phone app, then update it.
10. Update Calling and contact Apps & Phones:
If after doing all this the issue is still there then you have the last option left, and that is updating the phone/dialer app and your phone too.
That means you have to update the software version of your phone if it’s available and the security version too.
Maybe the old version is creating the issue and the new version can fix this. To update the app, follow these steps:
- Open Google Play Store on your Phone
- Then, tap on the profile icon which is in the (right upper side corner)

- On that page, tap on the update Available option

Now software update, Software updates can fix this issue. Because of some reasons may some features get turned off or changed. And it causes privacy and security issues also.
But update the android version and security patch version to keep your phone secure and safe. So please update all the apps and monthly android versions.
But before updating the phone you have to keep something in your mind. And they are:
- Your phone should have more than 40 percent charge
- Your phone should have 2X storage space than the updated size (Recommended)
