Realme Narzo 30 Pro – Pros and Cons of the Phone

Realme Narzo 30 Pro comes with India’s cheapest/affordable 5G phone tagline. As per the Narzo line-up, Narzo 30 pro is the successor of the Narzo 20 pro, this phone comes with the best processor under their price segment, but after launch, users found some downgrades in this Phone.

Is this the best smartphone under 20,000? Should we buy Realme Narzo 30 Pro except for Narzo 20 pro? Or go for Narzo 20 pro. Well, I have shared some Pros and Cons of the Realme Narzo 30 Pro so that you can easily decide to buy this smartphone according to your requirements.

Here are some Pros and Cons

1. 5G

As I said, Realme Narzo 30 Pro comes with the tagline of India’s cheapest/affordable 5G smartphone, and it really is. No smartphone brand is offering 5G within the 17000 price range, and this is the biggest plus point and attractive thing of Narzo 30 Pro. We don’t know the power of 5G in India, but the 4G speed is slightly improved in this phone.

2. Processor

Well, Realme Narzo 30 Pro comes with Dimensity 800U 5G processor, Antutu score of this is around 318602-324056, which is quite similar to snapdragon 765G and that’s really impressive. This processor comes with 5 bands WIFI 5(a/b/g/n/ac) also. And it is based on 7 NM (Neon Meter) technology, that’s why it’s more power-efficient. After playing heavy games like PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile, you will not have any type of lag except for little frame drops. Otherwise, performance is totally justified by the price.

3. Refresh Rate

At this price, segment Realme provides a 120 HZ screen Refresh Rate and a 180 HZ touch sampling rate. The touch feedback is excellent. While playing games frame rate is also well maintained. Basically, it’s 2 times faster and smoother than the normal refresh rate panel; even after the long and heavy usage, you will not find any issue in this, and it’s not that affects battery life also because of the 5000 mAh big battery.

4. Less Heating Issue

Due to Dimensity 800U, which is based on 7 NM technology, it’s more power-efficient and battery efficient. Even after using it for a long time, you won’t find any heating problem in this device. Heating is never an issue with Realme Narzo 30 Pro, and if you are a hardcore gamer like me, you can purchase this phone without any second thought.

5. Shocking Battery life

It doesn’t matter whether you are a normal user or a heavy user, you are bound to get amazing battery life, thanks to the 5000 mAh battery powering the smartphone. If you are a normal user, in 100% charge, it will give you up to 1.5 days to 2 days of battery life and 8.5 hours to 10 hours of screen on time, but if you are a heavy user and gamer, it will give you 7.5 hours to 8 hours of screen on time. In both cases, you will never be disappointed with the battery.

Let’s see come Cons of Realme Narzo 30 Pro

1. 30W charger

No doubt that battery life is awe-inspiring, and as we know, Realme Narzo 30 pro comes with a 30W Dart charger out of the box, and the 30W charger is still an awesome fast charger, but Narzo 20 pro came with a 65W Super Dart charger out of the box. So this is the major downgrade of this device; the reason might be cost-cutting for 5G I guess. Whatever, this is really a downgrade of Narzo 30 Pro.

2. Triple Camera Setup

Nowadays, the quad-camera is the trend in all smartphones, and phones priced below 12,000 also have a quad-camera setup. Even in Realme’s own phone, the narzo 20 pro also comes with a quad-camera but not in the Realme narzo 30 pro. It comes with a 48 Megapixel primary camera + 8 Megapixel Ultra wide-angle lens and 2 Megapixel macro lens. They remover the Depth camera in this.

3. IPS Display

Should have given the et least super AMOLED display for the price of 17,000, even if it would have reduced the refresh rate, but giving the AMOLED screen would have been even more batter than an IPS panel. A higher refresh rate is also an important thing, but a Super AMOLED display is more important than a refresh rate.

4. Plastic Body

We are not expecting this!! I don’t know why Realme did this; I mean, really? They provide a plastic body in this price segment. Although the plastic body does not affect the device’s look, the Glass back looks more premium and is much more durable than the plastic body.

5. Ads

Last but not the list, after the ban on Chinese apps, all the smartphone brands had said that there would be no ADS in any of their running phones and upcoming phones, but Narzo 30 pro has ADS. Although you can disable most of the system ads, it still interrupts your phone experience somehow.

Verdict:

These are some pros and cons which I found in Realme Narzo 30 pro. And these are my opinions, and your opinions might vary. So what’s your opinion on this? Please let me know in the comment box. Thank you very much for taking out your important time and reading this post.
