Lets’ understand all those points briefly
1. Downgrade in Battery Back-up:
Battery performance is also affected after the update, and it’s not a huge difference but if you are that type of user who charges their phone once a day then you gt to realize that difference.
The difference in battery decrease is 10-15 percent, but if you are a heavy user and gamer then you could the difference so easily.
You can increase the battery life by doing this little thing. All Realme devices come with a smart battery saver, so you can just turn that on(if it was not) and you can save the battery about 4-5 percent.
2. Charging Time Increases:
After the update, many users have complained that charging time is also increased. Where a device used to take one hour to charge 100 percent, it is now taking one and a half hours or more to charge 100 percent.
It does not affect only mid-range phones but flagship phones as well. We hope that this issue will fix in the next update.
3. UI Lagging:
This is a very irritating issue with every Realme smartphone, and some Realme users are facing this problem.
Not every user-facing this problem because this problem is only happening with the beta update. If you are recently updated the beta version of Realme UI 2.0 then you might be dealing with this issue.
If you are using stable updates then maybe you are dealing with this. So if you have not downloaded the beta version of this update then please do the update.
4. Decrease in performance:
The performance issue is also a very common problem in Realme smartphones after UI updates. We get to see the performance issue in these cases
- Browsing
- Gaming
- Camera Lagging
So, as per Realme support to get rid of this problem,
- first, you have to update all the apps which you have on your smartphone.
Please first uninstall those apps which are not in use, then update all the apps. Because When you were using Realme UI 1, it was based on Android 10, but the new Realme UI 2.0 is based on Android 11, which is totally un-updated version, and the updated version needs updated applications also.
So you have to keep all your applications up to date. - You have to do is free the RAM memory and internal memory, otherwise is cause hanging. Delete some files which are not in use. Always try to keep your phone’s memory-free by 40-60 percent. It will reduce the processing time to do any task like opening and closing the applications and playing games and browsing anything.
- The third is, always try to use your phone in a strong internet signal environment.
- Don’t download many files at the same time and don’t open multiple apps at the same time.
- Clear background apps and clear cache
- Open Settings on your device.
- In settings, tap on App Management
- On App Management, select the app that you want to clear the cache.
- Tap on Storage Usage.
- Then clear cache.
5. Fingerprint Scanner Not Working:
Features like fingerprint scanner and face unlock are both such things that make our security
more strong, and the Fingerprint scanner is also not working in Realme smartphones after the update of Realme 2.0.
We don’t even know but it could be a security issue. We should wait for the next update.
6. Network Issue:
Some users have complained about the network error after the update. Network issue in terms of calling and mobile data use. This issue also leads to battery draining issues. We hope this issue also gets fixed in the next update.
7. Calling Auto-Disconnected:
This is also a very huge problem in Realme phones right now. Whenever you are connected to the WIFI during a call, most of the time call gets disconnected automatically.
This issue is really a very very huge bug. It should be fixed immediately.
8. Camera Quality:
Camera quality is also decreased after the update. The output images are too blurry and noisy.
In the case of video, the Stabilization feature is also affected. When we record the video it seems stable but when we see the output then we get to see that stabilization is also affected after the update.
9. Delay In Locking Screen:
At the time the Realme 1 was launched, i
t was the fastest face unlocking and fingerprint unlocking smartphone in its segment, but today that doesn’t happen anymore, Just because of the new update.
Almost 2.5 to 3-second delay it takes to lock screen and also due to fingerprint issue it also takes time to unlock the phone.
We are just hoping, for one thing, in the next update all these problems are going to fix.
10. Proximity sensor Issue:
It’s also a very annoying thing. After the update proximity sensor is also not working.
If you don’t know what a proximity sensor is? Due to this sensor, the touch screen got to turn off when you lay your phone near your ear during a call. It helps not to touch any frequent thing through your skin during the call.
So it also not working after this update.
11. Heating Issue:
Seriously, this is the most common issue which happened after the update. The majority of users have complained about the heating issues.
There are so many solutions that can help you to get rid of the Realme device. We already published an article on how to Fix the Realme heating and lagging issue.
