This phone has a super AMOLED display so that we can see a fingerprint scanner in the display. That means it has an in-display fingerprint scanner. And with this fingerprint scanner Realme included something more for us. And that is the Heart rate, monitor.

One of the main highlights of Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G is the processor. Dimensity 920 is a 6 NM technology-based processor, and that makes it more battery and power-efficient. Antutu’s benchmark score is also above 500 K. And it also comes with vapor chamber cooling and it can prevent heat.

This processor is very stable and sustained, you can play PUBG mobile, COD mobile and free-fire in high settings. But, don’t play for a long time, because it’s not a gaming phone but it stands on the higher side among the competitor.

2. Display:

This phone comes with 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole display and this display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This size is very handy and easy to use and not bulky. If you have a tiny hand then, you will easily use this phone.

We get a 60 W fast charger out of the box but this phone supports 65 W fast charging. And we get a 4500 mAh battery, although the battery could have been better. As per Realme, this charger can charge 50 percent in just 15 minutes.

5. UI and android:

Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G comes with Realme UI 3.0 which is based on Android 12. Most of the phones still come with android 11 but this one comes with Android 12 out of the box.

And Realme UI 3.0 comes with a lot and lots of features and a colorful always-on display is one of them. And there are many more Android 12 security and basic features.

As per Realme, this UI is lightweight. And you can not see any ads on this phone.

6. 5G Bands:

This phone comes with 4g carrier aggregation and 7 5G bands, there could have been more but still, it’s the best. When it comes to connectivity there are many phones with 4g carrier aggregation that are not that supportive, but in this phone, you will get the best 4G+ support and better connectivity.

Cons

1. Refresh rate:

As we know the Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with the smoothness of a 90 Hz screen refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. But in the price range of 25,000 /- there are many phones which come with 120 Hz display.

Not even that if you look at under 20,000 /- there are many phones which come with 90 Hz Amoled display. Realme should provide more because there are many competitors. And they can convert users towards them.

2. Battery:

If you are spending more than 25,000 /- then obviously you expect everything quite better. Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G comes with a 4500 mAh battery, which is not bad but there should have been more than that. this battery will drain fast. At least a 5000 mAh battery could be better.

You will get 6 to 7 hours of screen time with this phone. And you get a 60 W fast charger out of the box. Realme claims that you can charge your device 50 percent in just 15 minutes with this charger.

3. Bloatware:

This phone comes with Realme UI 3.0 with Android 12 out of the box. I personally love Realme UI among all of UI out there. You can not see any kind of ads on this phone, which is a good thing. But, there are some pre-installed apps.

There are some pre-installed apps on this phone, and we call them bloatware. Seriously guys Realme did a bad job in this. But, you can delete them easily.

But, they should not have done that.

4. Bezels:

In this price range, we can see phones with almost bezel fewer displays, which means usually we see a display with above 92 or 93 percent of the body. But, in this phone, we get a quite big bezel and the screen-to-body ratio is also 90 percent.

This is a subjective thing too. Some users like this and some will not.

5. Price:

The price of this phone is a little higher. The price of this phone launched is not a justifying price. Many existing Realme users or not Realme users are not happy with this price.

Thwe price you have to pay for 6 GB + 128 GB is 24,000 /- , for 8 GB + 128 GB is 26,000 /- and for 8 GB 256 GB you have to pay 28,000 /- INR.
